Abstract/Summary
My senior project consisted of three original songs, with the goal of developing my skills in songwriting and composition and my skills in music mixing and mastering. The three pieces I composed and produced are titled “It’s Not a Problem,” “Seaside Interlude,” and “Longings (for Home)” with all instruments and vocals recorded by me. I selected these three, since they all have very different qualities that allowed me to sharpen my skills in multiple different areas. This retrospective will tell my process of writing, recording, and mixing all three pieces as well as document my struggles and triumphs that came along the way.
