Abstract/Summary
Procedural content creation is increasingly used in modern game development to improve efficiency and reduce repetitive manual work. This project explores the use of Houdini Digital Assets (HDAs) as tools for procedural game development and level design. Several custom HDAs, including procedural building, staircase, and fence generators, were created in Houdini and integrated into Unreal Engine. The project also examines the use of VEX scripting to extend procedural functionality. Through the development and testing of these assets, the project demonstrates how HDAs can streamline content creation workflows, support rapid iteration, and serve as a bridge between technical and artistic disciplines within game development.
