Description
As with any planning process, community understanding and support of the topic is an essential ingredient for successful climate change and sustainability plans. Climate Action Plans that can speak to a community’s values and priorities are likely to gain broader support in adoption and implementation. Panelists during this session, will provide an overview of Californian’s attitudes toward climate change issues, highlight tools and resources available to engage the public, and share best practices/lessons learned from communities that have engaged stakeholders in innovative ways.
