Abstract/Summary

A handbook for future leads on this project. This project is about the vegetation surveying of several segments of Prefumo and San Luis creeks that flow through the city of San Luis Obispo. The city needs to open up the undergrowth in the creeks to allow crews to find and clear out debris for flood and fire prevention. We are mapping the vegetation to help Beth Reynolds plan where to set up temporary grazing units for her goats, and we will be photographing the condition of the creek (riparian) channels before the grazing begins and after in order to document the effectiveness of the grazing treatment.
