Abstract
Community Partnerships are paving the way for new developments in sustainability: San Jose State University partnered with the City of San Jose on an experiential learning course to address sustainability in San Jose. San Luis Obispo is working with Shanghai, China and shares the lessons learned about working on international sustainability projects. Victor Valley College and the Mojave Sustainability Project are creating a symbiotic collaborative between academia, industry, and government agencies to promote sustainable development and the unique role education can play in this process.
