In the Plant Science Department, formerly the Horticulture and Crop Science Department, students work and study in the department’s fields, groves, vineyards, nurseries, orchards, arboretum and gardens, and greenhouses. They experience real world applications through internships and other collaborations with industry partners. They also develop a foundational plant science background.
