Abstract/Summary
The history of the first forty years of the orchestral program at Cal Poly is outlined in this project. Topics discussed include how the orchestra was established, information on various conductors, repertory over the years, collaboration with the community and soloists, and more. Quotations from various interviews with former members are included.
