The Rapid Roadway
Abstract/Summary
Traditionally when replacing damaged panels, a contractor cuts out the panel and then very carefully gets the beneath grade perfectly level before placing the new panel. This is a tremendously time consuming process. With the Rapid Roadway, the panel is easily leveled with a pneumatic impact drill via the Gracie Leveling Kit, locked into place with neighboring panels using the Barra Glide Load Transfer System, and filled with a high strength grout. This system has brought precast concrete panels back to life after many contractors stopped using them due to their inefficacy.
