Description
Linking Public Health & Climate Change For good and bad, climate change and public health are inextricably linked. The public health impacts of climate change, which are already becoming apparent, will be enormous. However, the topic of public health also presents a valuable opportunity for climate action planning, providing a relevant, understandable, and rallying topic for discussing the abstract and polarizing topic of climate change. In this session, practitioners will discuss their efforts to address the public health impacts of climate change as well as how the topic of public health helps inform climate action planning. Moderator: Matt Burris, Associate Principal, Raimi + Associates
