Abstract/Summary
This report covers the redesign of the Sample Prep Funnel for Cepheid’s engineering team. The Sample Prep Funnel, responsible for relaying liquid from the sample collection device to the testing cartridge, experiences fluid loss that causes invalid test results. Our group's task was to redesign this funnel to minimize fluid loss and, overall, increase efficiency and effectiveness.
