Abstract
We worked to implement a qualitative study exploring three constructs (teacher passion, global perspectives, and professional commitment) in a group of teachers who had participated in an international professional development experience during the Summer of 2018. Through this opportunity, we created the interview protocol, solicited participants, obtained human subjects research approval, interviewed participants, themed data, and created scholarly submissions. The three poster abstracts we submitted, to the American Association for Agricultural Education national research conference, were accepted and we had the opportunity to present them in Des Moines, Iowa (74 research posters accepted; 69% acceptance rate). This also gave us the opportunity to attend the entire research conference. Upon our return, we authored a journal article, which was submitted to the Journal of Agricultural Education.
