Abstract

Sanger High school has the unique opportunity to offer a wide array of classes and pathways for students to take so that they can meet their educational goals of graduation the move on to higher education or starting a career right out of high school. Students have all these opportunities and benefits to have a strong start out of high school, but ultimately students are unaware of what jobs are related to those choices or pathways that they have decided to take part in. Apache Science Team allows for students to experience and learn about many different careers and opportunities that science-based jobs and careers can offer, outside of academia. Apache Science Team is a science-based club, conducted out of Sanger High school Bethel Campus, were students can be exposed to multiple aspects and avenues in the realm of science including but not limited to health, agriculture, microbiology, chemistry, physics, forestry, etc. The goal of the Apache Science Team is to give students opportunities to experience, volunteer, or otherwise see what different science careers and opportunities they can be a part of!
