Abstract

Agriculture is rooted in culture, yet we rarely discuss the people who drive the industry today. Many voices have yet to share their stories of influencing or making a difference in the agriculture industry. As a result, the idea of a podcast arose as a free, convenient, and accessible way for everyone to hear and communicate stories. During the project, my co-host, Daniela Ramos, and I will work together to address this issue. To diversify and separate the workload, we will each host three episodes individually. As part of my role, I will also be responsible for marketing, including creating websites and social media platforms. This podcast aims to spotlight the stories of people of color within the agriculture industry, delving into their backgrounds, journeys in agriculture, and the challenges they face. This podcast can inspire students, young adults, and others to pursue careers in agriculture despite the obstacles many of these individuals have overcome on their paths to success.
