Abstract/Summary
This Final Design Review documents the senior design project carried out by a team of Mechanical Engineering students attending California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo for Roger Benham, and his company Leak Control Services Inc. The requirement was to design, build, and validate the performance of a test fixture that quantifies the performance characteristics of flow rate and pressure drop of different pitot tube designs to be used in a chemical dispensing application for Mr. Benham. This document includes relevant background research on the need for the fixture as well as relevant technical research. This document also contains objectives and a project plan. It contains the entire design process and a finalized preliminary design.
