Resolution Contents

Suspends the requirement of review at the Senate-committee level of course modifications for faculty who wish to teach courses in a previously-unreviewed modality in the summer terms from Summer 2024 through Summer 2026; and further resolves that this resolution does not supersede the right of departments and colleges to maintain control over the timing and modality of course offerings; and further resolves that previously-unreviewed modalities will still be reviewed at the department and college levels according to current policies prior to being offered; and further resolves that any previously-unreviewed modality in a course offered pursuant to this resolution during a summer term from Summer 2024 through Summer 2026 will need to be approved through the regular curricular review process before being offered again after the Summer 2026 term.
