Resolution Contents

The Food and Beverage processing in California accounts directly for $25.2 billion in value added and 198,000 jobs and is engaged in vital strategies to continue to produce and deliver food nationally and internationally, and Cal Poly graduates with a Master of Science in Food Science will successfully contribute to these efforts; therefore be that the proposed new degree program for the Master of Science in Food Science be approved.
