Abstract
A six-month exercise in advanced planning topics teaches students the fundamentals of planning and allows them to hone their craft on a living community – all from the confines of the classroom environment. The experience earns them an award from the California Chapter of the American Planning Association and a national award from the American Institute of Certified Planners.
